How Does In-Browser Page Reorganization Work?
Parsing cross-reference tables and reconstructing the page tree
When modifying page structures, our client-side engine loads the PDF file into an in-memory ArrayBuffer and inspects the root document catalog. Rather than re-encoding or compressing existing content streams, the engine re-indexes the /Pages node dictionary.
- Isolated Page Tree Assembly: Every retained or reorganized page preserves its original font descriptors, vector graphics, and image streams without lossy alteration.
- Direct Object Reference Cloning: Unmodified page content is referenced directly, resulting in instantaneous processing and identical visual fidelity.
- Zero Cloud Transmissions: All structural changes occur strictly in your local device RAM with no server roundtrips.
