How Does Client-Side Optimization & Repair Work?
Decompressing streams, optimizing image dictionaries, and rebuilding indexes
Our in-browser engine parses the underlying PDF file structure directly in client memory. By analyzing the Cross-Reference (xref) table and object streams, the engine identifies redundant metadata, uncompressed text streams, and invalid syntax without cloud transfers.
- Stream Deflation: Applies modern FlateDecode compression to plain text, vector coordinates, and structural markers.
- Resource Deduplication: Eliminates duplicate embedded fonts and orphaned object dictionaries that bloat file size.
- Syntax Reconstruction: Repairs malformed file trailers and broken cross-reference offsets to restore accessibility in standard PDF readers.
